A physical problem is a problem with the actual hardware, while a technological problem occurs in the software. Once the technician has determined what the actual problem is, you'll be able to order parts or services as necessary.

b. Once the data recovery technicians have gained access to the hard disk they will be able to create a mirror image or parallel of the actual hard disk. Once a mirror copy of your hard disk has been created the technician will be able to find out how much of your information can be saved.

c. Once the data has been retrieved you will then have to pay you're happy technician.

Hard disk evaluation and information recovery can take anywhere between 24 to 48 hours. The information recovery is the easy part, getting all the necessary parts is what makes it take so long.
